I heard it in a story from R Shabtai Slavaticky, said to a student on Yechidus. I believe that I later saw it in one of the Rebbe's English letters as well, if I come across it again, I'll post it.

Sorry, but I haven't. What I did come across was that a person can change any situation, no matter what it is.
